Company Profile

Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund was established in October 2003, in response in compliance with conditions for good corporate governance set by the industry regulator, the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa).

In terms of regulations, a medical aid fund must be a non-profit-organization, which belongs to its members. Namfisa requires that that an independent board of trustees be set up by each medical aid company. The Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund Board of Trustees has years of experience and skill to manage the fund in the best interests of the members.

The name Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund signifies a new era in Health Care. Our aim is to deliver affordable health care products to all Namibians, with a focus on catering for the lower income groups.

Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund's day to day operations are administered by Prosperity Health Namibia.
